Our Prep program for 4 to 5 year olds is a time of play, socialisation, exploration and all-important early learning.
Sydney Adventist School Auburn recognises the importance of early learning, play and socialisation for young children. Our pre-kindy Prep program is for children who are four years old.

Preparation for Kindergarten
A combination of child-led and teacher-initiated activities develop your child's curiosity, creativity, confidence and interpersonal skills.
Prep students are taught according to the Board of Studies Early Stage One content, which prepares them for a smooth transition into Kindergarten.
Co-located on school grounds, our Prep program familiarises your child with school teachers, students, philosophy and routines so that they can be better prepared for Kindergarten.
Prep is run during school term, during school hours:
- Monday to Thursday 8:55am-3:00pm
- Friday 8:55am-2:35pm
Students are eligible for Prep if they are turning 4 by June 30 of the school year for which they are enrolled. Enrolment Process
To enrol your child into Prep you must:
- Fill out the Enrolment Form available online or at the school office
- Pay a $100 non-refundable enrolment fee upon acceptance of enrolment.
Enrolment priority will be given to those who have siblings at the Primary School, an older child nearing the age of 5 and those who submit their enrolments early. Enrolments that are received once the class is filled will be placed on our waiting list. When a position becomes available then the family will be contacted to inform them of the days available.
Please note that not all days will be available upon application as positions at our Prep class fill quickly.
Please Note: Enrolments need to be in by the end of April each year
